My name is Kevin Newton and my interest in turf grass started when I was 14 years old mowing my parents lawn. The details of mowing, edging, along with the smell of fresh cut grass quickly became my passion. Instantly I was hooked on the perfection of grass, and always will be.

After getting my Turf Grass Degree from North Georgia Tech, I started my career with two prestigious internships. First with TPC Sugarloaf; setting my foundation. I learned right off the bat what it takes to host a PGA tournament. My second internship was with the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park. There I learned how to create perfection every day under a watchful eye.

Now I have had over 10 years of turf grass experience as an Assistant Superintendent. I've had the privilege of working and learning under some of the best Superintendents in the industry. As my journey continues, I am confident that I am ready to succeed and thrive as a golf course Superintendent.
